Two men were arrested after they led Columbus Police officers on a vehicle pursuit that reached speeds of more than 90 miles per hour before they crashed into a concrete wall on Monday afternoon.
At approximately 4:15 p.m., a CPD officer observed Robin L. Ransom, 48, of Columbus and Anthony M. Brown, 26, of Columbus inside a Cadillac Escalade that was traveling on State Road 46, said Lt. Matt Harris, Columbus Police Department spokesman.

The officer determined that Ransom had multiple warrants for his arrest and stopped his vehicle near Fourth and Brown streets.
A short time later, Ransom sped away from the officer and disregarded multiple traffic signals as he attempted to elude police, Harris said.
Ransom continued traveling west on State Road 46 where he attempted to turn on to the north bound ramp of Interstate 65. Ransom lost control of his vehicle a short time later and stuck a concrete barrier wall, Harris said.
When officers arrived, Brown was located outside of the vehicle where he was taken into custody. Ransom was located hiding in shrubbery nearby and was also placed under arrest. Both men were transported to Columbus Regional Hospital for injuries they sustained in the crash.
Upon their discharge from the hospital, the two men were transported to the Bartholomew County Jail and are being held with 48 hour holds on the following preliminary charges:
Robin Ransom: Six Bartholomew County warrants, felony resisting law enforcement causing serious bodily injury, felony criminal recklessness causing injury, misdemeanor reckless driving causing injury, misdemeanor driving while suspended, misdemeanor possession of marijuana
Anthony M. Brown: Misdemeanor possession of marijuana
