Former and current students, parents and community neighbors toured classrooms and the gymnasium during a goodbye open house at Cross Cliff Primary School which was to be replaced by a new elementary school being built between Hope Intermediate and Hauser Jr./Sr. High schools.

1995

State fire investigators said the April blaze at a Hope farm that caused $1.2 million in damages and killed more than 2,000 hogs was caused by arson.

1970

Twelve miniature horse sculptures, 37 inches tall, were given to Richards Elementary School by J. Irwin and Xenia Miller.
