I am sad and angry that yet another unarmed black man has been murdered by police in the U.S.
That an officer of the law could kneel on George Floyd’s neck until all life was gone. That three other officers did not have the courage to say or do anything to stop it. That black people all over this country have to watch people like themselves be murdered by the police (and others who think it is their right to police people of color).
Over and over again…and nothing changes.
No wonder they’re angry.
What does it say about white America? Yet again reinforcing that certain lives don’t matter. Maybe we like it this way?
