Columbus City Utilities will be repairing a water leak at Third Street and Lafayette Avenue today, resulting in lane closings.
City officials said on Third Street from California Street to Sycamore Street, the northern most, right lane will be closed.
Then from Sycamore Street to Lafayette Avenue, only one lane of Third Street will be open and the two northern most, right lanes will be closed.
Motorists are urged to take an alternate route if possible, however if they must use this route they are reminded to obey traffic control and use caution while in the area.
