Duncan tied for seventh after first-round 65

FORT WORTH, Texas — Tyler Duncan made his return with the PGA Tour a successful one Thursday, firing a 5-under-par 65 to put himself in a tie for seventh after the first round of the Charles Schwab Challenge.

Duncan, a 2008 Columbus North graduate, had seven birdies and two bogeys. He shot 1-under 34 on the front nine and 4-under 31 on the back nine at Colonial Country Club.
