SEYMOUR
Harold Wayne Meek, 72 of Seymour, passed away Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at Norton Audubon Hospital. Born September 9, 1947 in Columbus, Indiana he was the son of Harry Meek Sr. and Waldean (Holcomb) Meek.
Harold served three tours in the United States Army having serviced during Vietnam War. He loved sports and enjoyed softball and was an avid pickle ball player. He had lots of awards from the many of bowling tournaments that he played in. Harold was a very private man and will always be remembered for going out of his way to help others.
Survivors include his significant other of 27 years, Cheryl Watson of Seymour; his sisters, Carolyn Dickerson and her husband Bob of Randleman, North Carolina, Pat Goins and her husband Charlie of Lake Placid, Florida; his brothers, Greg Meek and his wife Kim of Taylorsville, Indiana and Steve Meek of Brown County, Indiana; his sister in law Nellie Meek and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Harry “Buck” Meek.
Memorial services will be held for Harold at later date with full military honors.
