Indianapolis Road between Lowell Road and the U.S. 31 interchange is closed at this time due to a gas line struck by a vehicle.
Vectren is on the scene at this time and estimate approximately 12 homes in the area are affected, said Capt. Mike Wilson, Columbus Fire Department spokesman.
Vectren officials said one home is being temporarily evacuated as a precaution and that traffic restrictions may be in place over the next hour as repairs are made.
Columbus Police are providing traffic control at this time.
