The Columbus City Utilities Office will be closed Friday for the July 4th holiday. Regular business hours will resume Monday at 8 a.m. If you have a problem with your water or sewer service, call 812-372-8861 and follow the prompts.
Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles (BMV) announced the majority of BMV branches will be closed Saturday. Branches with a Monday through Friday schedule or a Monday, Wednesday, Friday schedule will be closed on Friday in observance of the holiday. All satellite branches and branches with a standard Tuesday through Saturday schedule are closed July 4. Branches will resume regularly scheduled business hours on Monday. Bartholomew County offices will be closed Friday for the July 4th holiday.
All city of Columbus offices will be closed on Friday for the July 4th holiday. Trash, recycling and yard waste toter pick-up will occur on its regular weekly schedule.
The Republic will be closed Friday to allow employees to enjoy the July 4th holiday.
