FORT WAYNE — Columbus North graduate Holly Anderson has been named a Women’s Golf Coaches Association All-American Scholar.
Anderson, who will be a senior at Purdue-Fort Wayne, was one of four Mastodons to make the team. Selections must have al least a 3.5 cumulative GPA, played in at least half of their teams’ competitions and have high moral standing based on their respective coach’s recommendation.
Anderson recorded a 77.73 average in the abbreviated 2019-20 season, the best season average by a junior in program history. She had two top-10 finishes last fall and had the second-best 54-hole score in program history.
Last month, Anderson, who was the high school state medalist in 2016, was named The Republic Girls Golfer of the Decade.
