Anderson tied for seventh in Indiana Women’s Open

PERU — Holly Anderson carded a 3-over-par 75 in Wednesday’s opening round and is tied for seventh place going into today’s final round of the Indiana PGA Women’s Open.

Anderson, a Columbus North graduate who will be a senior at Purdue-Fort Wayne, had four birdies in her round at Rock Hollow, tied for the most of anyone in the field. She trails leader Julia Potter-Bobb of Indianapolis by four shots.

Danbi Kim, a North graduate who will be a junior at Findlay, is in 19th place after an opening round 78. Anderson’s sister Annie, who will be a freshman at Rose-Hulman, is 79th after a 98.
