• small businesses downtown who respect their customers enough to wear a mask during this pandemic.

• those trusting medical professionals for their COVID-19 guidelines.

• those realizing facts and science are what we should look to.

• the Orphan Grain Train crew who loaded the trailer for Cornerstone Children’s Ranch in Quemado, Texas, and those helping with the pickup Tuesday, thanks to the volunteers!

• those who know there is absolutely no way we can reopen schools as cases are rising and numbers will rise exponentially if students return.

• BCSC teachers and staff who are not complaining about going back to school.

Onions to …

• our founding fathers who never imagined the presidential election process and the electoral college would allow our elections to be gamed, and lead to such division.

• a federal administration so disorganized they can’t even get school-opening guidelines out before schools open.

• teachers more concerned about a union than their students.

• the mask mandate.

• not realizing everything we have done for the last four months has not slowed the spread of the virus and requiring a mask won’t help either.

• anyone thinking the virus is a hoax or won’t spread upon close contact, as in crowded hallways or classrooms.

• parents not worried about kids catching the virus at sports but are worried about sending kids back inside schools.

• the federal elected official sending troops to clear off peaceful protesters, but offering little to no support to run off the virus.

• the company closing its local service center forcing customers to drive to Greenwood or Bloomington for in-person support for an overpriced product.

• those finding weak rationalizations to not wear masks, it’s not all about you.

• those who should lead by example but spoke at the school board meeting without a mask.

• any official thinking it is a good idea to require masks.

• the hateful letter against one of the best presidents this country has ever seen.

• claiming metrics is the guide to reopening schools, Indiana just saw its largest weekly increase in cases yet, an 8% increase over the worst week last spring.

• people not realizing we’ve lost our jobs, we’ve hidden in our closets for four months, we’ve worn our masks and gloves and nothing stops the rising numbers — stop with the stupid mandates.

• the state agency for not notifying the public it was closed at 10 a.m. Tuesday due to a facility issue, causing people to take off work and waste time.

• family that does nothing for a mentally-ill family member because they are too afraid of them.

• unions that protect teachers and put students last.

• the federal leader spouting falsehoods, such as U.S. deaths are low, when they are the highest in the world and are now reaching 1,000 per day again.

• city officials not considering selling Otter Creek to a private entity and using the profit to support Greenbelt.

• all those unaware of the detrimental effects and ineffectiveness of wearing a mask, especially for children.

• any official even considering sending children on a bus to school where the virus can spread easily.

• the church when reopening cutting out traditional worship for the people who need it most because of the virus.

• the facility mixing COVID-19 and non-COVID-19 patients in the same unit.

• considering a mask mandate that cannot be enforced.

• the agency processing vehicle registrations stating there is an extension but not notifying police.

• the elected school board not approachable to all concerned taxpayers and stakeholders, including teachers and whistleblowers.

• those that are wanting to open schools in August, putting kids in jeopardy, move reopening to after Labor Day.
