Edward and Brenda Hendershot of Nashville celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a family dinner on July 19. Their daughters are also sending them to Gatlinburg, Tennessee, for their anniversary weekend.
Mr. Hendershot and the former Brenda Doty were married July 24, 1970, in Columbus, by the Rev. Turner.
Mr. Hendershot is employed as a truck driver for Mhart.
Mrs. Hendershot is a homemaker.

The couple have three children, Tracy Rea, Stacy Hendershot, and Marcy Smith; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
