MEMPHIS — Tyler Duncan carded an opening-round 4-over-par 74 Thursday and is in 77th place in the World Golf Championships-FedEx St. Jude Invitational.
Starting on the back nine, Duncan, a 2008 Columbus North graduate, shot 38 on that side. He finished with a birdie on his last hole, No. 9, to shoot 36 on the front.
