Asbury United Methodist Church — Asbury is offering in-person worship at 9:30 a.m. each Sunday. Patrons can also livestream worship or watch the recorded video after 11 a.m. at www.asburycolumbus.org/latest-worship.

Dayspring Church Apostolic — Worship begins at 11:15 a.m. at the church, 2127 Doctors Park Drive, Columbus. Every visitor will receive a free gift.
The Sunday education session starts at 10 a.m.
Bible study is Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. and is a group session sponsored by Heart Changers International, LLC on depression, perfection and anger, with hand out questions.
Our Prayer of Power starts at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday and is preceded with requests and instructions on prayer.
Ignite is the Youth growth session happens every third Friday.

East Columbus United Methodist — Sunday morning worship at East Columbus United Methodist Church begins at 9:30 a.m. in the sanctuary with the implementation of the recommended in-person worship guidelines.
Social distancing guidelines include a face covering (face masks will be provided for those who need one), seating every other pew, no passing of offering plates, no handshaking or hugging, and the use of pre-packaged communion supplies. Holy Communion is served the first Sunday of each month.
Sunday school will be held immediately following the morning service, and classrooms have been arranged to follow social distancing guidelines. Sunday evening service begins at 6 p.m. in the chapel. Seating has been arranged to follow social distancing guidelines.
The weekly service will continue to be available for viewing online through the church’s Facebook page and on their YouTube channel.

Faith Lutheran Church — The church will livestream worship each Sunday on Facebook at Faith Lutheran Church — Columbus Indiana.
The church is also meeting in person each Sunday at 9 a.m., and will be following specific health guidelines. Daily prayer is livestreamed most weekdays at 8 a.m. All are welcome to worship the Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

First Lutheran Church — The church has begun in-person worship services. Sunday morning worship times are 8:45 a.m. for the classic service and 11:15 a.m. for the casual service.

First Presbyterian — During August, the church’s worship services will only be available via streaming. The church will continue their series on 2 Corinthians this Sunday by reflecting on 2 Corinthians 5:1-21 with a sermon titled “Ministry of Reconciliation.”

People in the community in need of a meal are invited to the church’s Hot Meals offered Friday at 5 p.m. Attendees should enter through the glass doors on Franklin by the flag pole. The church is an LGBTQ-friendly church.

First United Methodist — On Aug. 2, at 8:30 a.m., Rev. Howard Boles will deliver the message “The Need to Disconnect in Order to Reconnect” at the church, 618 Eighth St., Columbus. The scripture will be Matthew 14:13-21.
Doors for the service will be opened at 8 a.m., and the church asks that you enter through the narthex doors (on Eighth Street) or through the Lafayette Street doors. Hand sanitizer will be available at the entrances to the sanctuary. The church asks that everyone attending wear a mask while they are in the building. Masks will be available for those that don’t have one. The church will be practicing social distancing and will be taking other precautions to help ensure everyone’s health and safety.
The church will not be having childcare, children’s moment, or Sunday school at this time.
For those that aren’t able to make it to the in-person service or are not yet comfortable meeting in person, the church will continue to have a 10 a.m. live stream of its service on their Facebook page, and it will be available on the church website for later viewing as well.

Flintwood Wesleyan — The church is located at 5300 E. 25th St., Columbus. In response to the current COVID-19 situation, Flintwood Wesleyan Church is canceling all midweek services and activities.

North Christian Church — Rev. Tonja Gerardy is continuing Sunday services at 10:30 a.m. each Sunday morning via YouTube. Search North Christian Church Columbus Indiana to join.
In addition, join the conversation via Zoom on Tuesdays at 3:30 p.m. The church will continue to explore Biblical characters whose lives unraveled. Each session is wholly independent from the others. Participants can choose to “come and go” as able. There is no book to purchase or any advance reading to complete. This is a no-stress way to connect with church family in a way that supports and encourages spiritual growth.

Old Union United Church of Christ — Scriptures for the 10 a.m. Sunday service will include Genesis 32:22-31, Romans 9:1-5, and Matthew 14:13-21. The message will be “God Who Gives All, Loves All, Forgives All.”
The church has applied social distancing guidelines. Face coverings are required, but can be provided by the church for those that need one. Seating is spaced two arm-widths apart for non-relatives, seating is every other pew, there will be no fellowship in the basement, no passing of the peace, and no handshaking or hugging.

Petersville United Methodist Church — The church will gather at 9 a.m. on Aug. 2 for worship. Those attending are requested to wear masks. Masks are available at the table inside the narthex for those without one. Seating will also be arranged for social distancing, and offerings may be left in the basket on the table. Teresa Covert will give the children’s sermon. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own Bibles.
The interim Pastor Rebecca Milne will bring the message, “Thy Kingdom Come,” and will use scriptures from Matthew 6. She will emphasize that the Lord’s Prayer teaches us that God’s Kingdom is coming here and we have a part to play. Communion will be served outdoors near the rose garden with the elements presented in a safe manner by Rebecca and Joe Bush, the Lay Leader at Petersville.

Sandy Hook United Methodist — Sandy Hook United Methodist church gathers weekly for in-person worship at 9 a.m. On Aug. 2, Pastor Paul Dazet, will bring the message “Thy Kingdom Come” as part of the ongoing series “In Columbus as it is in Heaven.” Fellowship time will not take place, nor will there be any classes or children’s church until Sept. 13.
Those attending are asked to wear masks, and they will be available if needed. Seating will be marked and will be socially distanced. Sanitizer is available. Attendees should not gather in groups inside the church.

St. Paul’s Episcopal Church — All in-person activities at the church are suspended until further notice. Sunday Eucharist is being hosted on Zoom at 10:15 a.m. each Sunday morning.
St. Paul Lutheran — Pastor Doug Bauman will present the message ”Come, Drink and Eat” based on Isaiah 55:1-5 Sunday at the 8 and 10:45 a.m. worship services. Services follow all CDC guidelines at the church, located 6045 E. State St., Columbus. The 2020-21 Early Childhood Ministry teaching staff will be installed during the 8 a.m. service.
Christian Fellowship will begin at 9:10 a.m. with Christian Education classes following at 9:30. The Spanish worship service will be in the Fellowship Room at 10:45 with Spanish Sunday School at noon.
In-person worship communion service is held each Wednesday at 4:45 p.m. in the church followed by Bible study on 1 and 2 Thessalonians at 6 p.m. Wednesday’s worship service will be posted online Aug. 6 at www.stpaulcolumbus.org
Radio Worship Service is every Sunday at 8:30 a.m. on 1010 AM and 98.1 FM.
Wednesday morning Bible Class will resume on Aug. 5 at 9 a.m. at the church studying the book of Jeremiah. All are welcome.

Westside Community Church — WCC has resumed in-facility worship with two services under the recommended guidelines. As a courtesy to all, masks are required. Limited seating will be available to allow for distancing.
The church is recommending older adults attend the 8:45 a.m. service, and young families and all others attend the 10:15 a.m. service. There will be no nursery or children’s church.
An FM broadcast will also be available on 87.9 for both services in the church parking lot for those who do not wish to enter the building.
The church encourages at-risk individuals to remain at home, and those who have, or have recently had, symptoms to remain at home.
