Roger Kalia was named conductor of Columbus Symphony Orchestra, replacing Arkady Orlovsky who retired in 2009 after 17 seasons with the orchestra comprised of mostly local volunteers.

1995

A $500 reward was offered for information about vandals who destroyed glass globes on light fixtures, punched holes through glass blocks near the boathouse, and dumped trash throughout Mill Race Park, causing an undetermined amount of damage.
