NORTH VERNON — Gwen Anderson fired a 1-over-par 36 Wednesday to win medalist honors and lead the seventh-ranked Columbus North girls golfers to a 159-203 win against Jennings County at St. Anne’s.
Yestika Nischol carded a 38 for the Bull Dogs, who are playing without top golfer Nathaly Munnicha because of a wrist injury. Macy Euler added a 42, Ella Wilks shot 43 and Ritisha Rashmil had a 52.
Sophia Curry led the Panthers with a 38. Alexis Carson carded a 41, Lauren Galvan added a 58, Emma Jones shot 65 and Emma Kirchner had a 68.
