COLUMBUS, Ind. — Columbus Regional Hospital reported Friday that 10 individuals are hospitalized for COVID-19 as of Friday.

Nine of the people hospitalized are from Bartholomew County, and one is from Brown County, hospital officials said.

All of the patients are in stable or stable/critical condition, which means there are no individuals currently being treated at CRH’s intensive care unit for COVID-19.

Friday’s number is trending down from a recent hospitalization number of 16 patients hospitalized for COVID-19 from Aug. 13 to 15. The number stayed within the 11- to 13-patient range through Thursday, falling to 10 on Friday.
