SEYMOUR — Seymour police are investigating a shooting reported at 9:43 p.m. Tuesday at 330 S. Vine St.
Police said two individuals were shot there, both taken by helicopter to University Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.
No condition report is available on the two at this time and police are not releasing the victim’s names.
Investigators obtained a Jackson Superior Court 2 search warrant to search the residence at 330 S. Vine St. for evidence. During the search of the location, numerous bullet casings, bullets, and bullet fragments were located. Investigators also located other items of evidentiary value.
According to one individual at the residence, they heard a knock on the door. When the door was opened, they observed an individual wearing a hoodie and displaying a weapon. The individual then opened fire shooting through the front door multiple times, police said.
