North Christian Church landscape cleanup seeking volunteers

COLUMBUS, Ind. — Landmark Columbus is joining forces with the Miller House and Garden to help care for the iconic landscape at North Christian Church, which was designed by Dan Kiley.

Four-hour shifts are available, one in the morning and one in the afternoon on Thursday at the church, which is a National Historic Landmark.

This work is being done also in support of the Bartholomew County Historical Society’s upcoming tour of Modern Landscapes.

The event is listed on the Bartholomew County Day of Service website for signups.

Volunteers should come ready with gloves and a willingness to pull weeds, pick up tree limbs, and help with general cleanup.

To sign up, email Landmark Columbus’ Richard McCoy at [email protected] or call 812-657-0095.
