Newly released results showed SAT scores for the Class of 2010 were the highest in four years in Columbus, bucking state and national stagnation.

1995

The city’s oldest church, First Presbyterian, dedicated its new 47-rank, $450,000 Casavant Freres organ, installed in the church’s newly-refurbished sanctuary.

1970

To ease overcrowding at Parkside Elementary School, Bartholomew Consolidated School Board authorized the transfer of eight pupils from Parkside, with 78 six-grade students, to Schmitt Elementary School, where just 55 sixth graders were enrolled.
