BCSC seeks Hall of Fame nominations

Bartholomew Consolidated School Corp. is seeking nominations for its Hall of Fame.

Nominees may be teachers, former teachers or administrators. It is required that the nominee, at the time of employment, be a licensed teacher or administrator and have worked for the school corporation for at least 15 years.

According to the nomination form, award criteria also states that the recipient must be someone who has made “a noteworthy and extraordinary employment contribution to the Bartholomew Consolidated School Corp. which merits recognition for excellence.”

Honorees are selected by a committee of five individuals: a teacher, an administrator, a parent, a patron and a board member. If a nominee is not selected, their nomination is held and reviewed during the selection process for three years.

The recipient will receive a commemorative plaque, and a second plaque will be placed in a school location of his/her choice.

Nominations will be accepted until Nov. 2. Nomination forms are available on BCSC’s website at bcscschools.org/.
