Bartholomew Consolidated School Corp. announced it would open a clinic to provide health services ranging from routine check-ups to urgent care for individuals covered by BCSC’s insurance.

1995

The American Automobile Association honored Columbus as a leader in a nationwide effort to improve pedestrian safety after the city was selected by an independent panel of traffic safety experts from federal agencies, national and international groups.

1970

Columbus High School Principal Judson Erne reported a new high school dress code requiring waivers signed by parents to permit girls to wear slacks and boys to wear long hair, had caused no major problems, although a few faculty members expressed a dislike for having to enforce the code.
