Jets sweep Cougars

HOPE — Hauser remained unbeaten in the Mid-Hoosier Conference with a 25-7, 25-12, 25-7 win against South Decatur on Monday.

Andie Clark led the Jets (15-8, 4-0) with 24 digs and 10 aces. Hannah Johnson pounded seven kills, Aunaka Wasil recorded 21 assists and Kenze Bostic had four blocks.

Also for Hauser, Charlie Clark notched seven kills and three digs, Kenze Bostic pounded five kills, Marnie Schwartzkopf had three kills and three blocks and Kayden Miller added one kill. Andie Clark tallied two assists, Stephanie Meek had one block, Wasil posted eight digs and four aces, Kyra Meister contributed three digs, Sophia Musillami added two digs, Johnson served three aces and Gabby Johns had one ace.

The Cougars fell to 5-11 overall and 1-4 in the MHC.

Crusaders claim title

MADISON — Columbus Christian wrapped up the Southern Roads Conference with a 25-19, 25-13, 22-25, 25-18 win at Christian Academy of Madison.

Madison Henderson recorded 12 kills, one block assist, 13 digs and four aces; Hannah Stair notched nine kills, 22 digs and four aces; Emily Stair had five kills, 21 assists, 17 digs and five aces and Kayla Jones added 26 digs and one ace to lead the Crusaders (16-3-1, 5-0).

Also for Columbus Christian, Lila Hudson tallied four kills, two assist blocks and one dig, and Kinidy Morgan posted 14 digs. Kenna Conrad pounded one kill and one assist block and Lindsey Hunnicutt had one solo block and one dig.

Mohawks top Lancers

WALDRON — All three sets had the same score in Waldron’s 25-12, 25-12, 25-12 MHC win against Edinburgh.

The Lancers, who were coming off four losses in Saturday’s Greenfield-Central Invitational, fell to 5-19 overall and 1-4 in the conference.

Panthers blank Eagles

NASHVILLE — Ricky Stanley scored a pair of goals to lead Brown County to a 2-0 win against Jennings County.

Aidan Norcutt had an assist for the Eagles (3-7), who outshot the Panthers (4-9-2) 12-6. Jake Huddleston recorded four saves for Brown County.

Hornets halt Cougars

SEYMOUR — Trinity Lutheran came away with a 6-1 loss to Henryville.

Levi Pottschmidt scored off an assist from Zander Rogrok (1-8) for the Cougars, who were outshot 21-14. Peyton Pollert posted 15 saves.

Panthers edge Warriors

NORTH VERNON — Morgan Lane scored two goals to lead Jennings County to a 2-1 win against Scottsburg.

The Panthers (6-8) outshot the Eagles 20-7. Tori Lee posted three saves.
