Bryce Turner fired a 7-under-par 137 to win medalist honors and lead the St. Francis men’s golfers to the team title at the Stonecrest Intercollegiate in Prestonsburg, Kentucky.
Turner, a junior from Columbus North, shot 70 and 67 Sunday and Monday. The Cougars had a 604 team total, 11 shots better than host Alice Lloyd.
Last week, Turner tied for second individually with a 215 for 54 holes in leading St. Francis to a sixth-place team finish in the Spring Arbor Invitational. Earlier this month, he was the top Crossroads League finisher with a 223 at the NAIA Memphis Shootout.
