COLUMBUS
Larry Dean Turner, 72, of Columbus, died at his home.
Larry was born August 21, 1948, in Columbus, the son of Mennen J. Turner and Mary Dowden Turner.
Larry retired from Cummins Engine Company after 33 years of service. He was a member of the Moose and Eagles
Lodge. He loved playing golf and spending time with his family and friends.
Calling hours will be 2:00-4:00 PM, Saturday, October 10, 2020 at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home. Private inurnment will be at Flat Rock Baptist Cemetery at a later date.
Survivors include a son, Brian (Sarah) Turner of Columbus; daughters, Angela R. (Daniel) Sutton and Pamela F. (Graham) Hales both of Columbus; grandchildren, Melany Alvey, Elizabeth Hales, Carolina Hales, and Charlie Turner.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
