During fall break, Bartholomew Consolidated School Corp. will provide free meals to children 18 years of age and younger. BCSC’s website states that adults may purchase meals at $3.60 for lunch and $1.95 for breakfast.
According to an announcement regarding this extension of the Summer Food Service Program, free meals are also available for “persons over 18 years old who are enrolled in a state-approved educational program for the mentally or physically disabled.”
Meals will be available from Monday through Friday on a first come, first served basis at the following sites:
- Schmitt Elementary: Breakfast at 8-8:30 a.m. daily. Lunch at Noon-1 p.m. daily.
- Columbus Signature Academy Fodrea: Breakfast and lunch will be distributed together curbside from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. daily. Drive up to the left side of the building and pull up to door #4.
- Smith Elementary: Breakfast and lunch will be distributed together curbside from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. daily. Drive into the car rider line by door #20.
