Floyd tops Trinity
SEYMOUR — Floyd Central twice rallied from one-set deficits to pull out a 24-26, 25-22, 19-25, 25-21, 15-13 win at Class A No. 1 Monday at Trinity Lutheran.
Kennedy Hoffman led the Cougars (23-5) with 18 kills and five blocks. Bailey Reynolds recorded 44 assists, Sydney Jaynes had five blocks and Kamzi Gross notched 32 digs.
Also for Trinity, Jaynes pounded 13 kills, and Bailey Tabeling added 12 kills and two blocks. Reynolds also had two blocks, Stella Kleffman tallied 23 digs, Elly Carter added 19 digs and two aces and Gross served two aces.
