• Dave Cleland’s very well-written and factual letter to the editor, thank you for being brave enough to state the truth!

• county employees who deserve a pay increase for faithful service to the citizens during the COVID-19 pandemic.

• early voting, no chance those ballots will end up in a ditch somewhere.

• Joe Biden for his calm, effective, and presidential appeal for national unity at Gettysburg Tuesday.

• the vice president’s top aide and member of the coronavirus taskforce leaving the administration because of their lying to the American people and unethical handling of the virus.

• Papa’s Deli for great customer service, from Linda.

• David Bird for his cemetery restoration work in Rockcreek Township, from the Rockcreek Township Board and Trustee.

• Ginny and Lee Ann for hosting the Tuesday Ladies’ Golf League banquet, it was delicious.

• all those that voted to help Greenbelt open, your efforts are appreciated.

• Dave Cleland, Michael Leppert, and Ann Jones for speaking the truth and trying to help us make good choices.

• Becky at the Bureau of Motor Vehicles for paying for my driver’s license after someone stole my billfold.

• invoking the 25th Amendment for a president who violates the public trust on so many fronts.

• President Trump who protects our religious liberties.

• making a change, one vote at a time, voting literally for our lives.

Onions to …

• the organizer of the Saturday flag waving at the courthouse for allowing a Confederate flag, proving that it was never about “patriotism.”

• people not seeing the endless similarities between two weeks to flatten the curve and the two weeks to flatten the Taliban.

• the virus spreader in chief who needs to quarantine and stop the photo ops and tweeting.

• people forgetting the county and city have never worried about struggling taxpayers so why should they start now?

• the White House for becoming a coronavirus hotspot due the irresponsible elected leader and lack of leadership.

• the city using the abandoned mall for a variety of purposes just so doing the bare minimum will become “look at what we did.”

• the federal elected official for refusing to follow CDC guidelines to combat the coronavirus and becoming a super spreader infecting White House staff and military personnel.

• not allowing Windrose Health Network Mobile COVID-19 Unit to park for six hours in the mall parking lot giving free COVID-19 tests.

• all the people believing every conspiracy about the federal elected official even though all have proven untrue.

• those continuing to support the candidate who has now been proven to have been involved in spying against the current official.

• the federal elected official who thinks his perceived image is far more important than his health.

• the county elected officials for not allowing a raise for county workers during COVID-19 — that didn’t stop the referendum.

• those who don’t realize hiding in the basement won’t magically make the virus go away.

• those who conveniently forget that original projections were 240,000 COVID-19 deaths within the year.

• the letter writer who needs to relax because we had to be silent and endure 8 years of the worst president and he can survive four more of this one.

• not mentioning two of the worst symptoms of the virus, fear and stupidity.

• the virus spreader-in-chief who has gone completely crazy by wantonly infecting anyone close to him.

• spending $35 million and still having to listen to train horns.

• those who had touted the Russian hoax.

• the political party falsely calling another political party “radicals” and claiming they want to defund the police.

• those complaining that the state elected official has no date to end his state mandates.

• the fullest manifestation of performance narcissism in political history.

• the retirement center for always serving cold, uncooked food.

• people who don’t realize that we have choice between two cheaters and pathological liars.

• the lady who stole my purse out of the store bathroom.

• the federal elected official ending negotiations for a virus relief package, refusing to help struggling Americans now when they need it.
