COLUMBUS, Ind. — Ivy Tech Community College – Columbus and IUPUC are partnering to create a seamless and affordable pathway to a bachelor’s degree locally.

Beginning this fall, Ivy Tech graduates who have earned an associate degree, are guaranteed admission, based on select provisions, into IUPUC’s biology, criminal justice or psychology programs via a guaranteed admission agreement.

The agreement spells out the necessary coursework toward degree requirements at both institutions. Admission also will have an application fee waiver.

The guaranteed admission will eliminate any loss of credits while minimizing cost to students and ensuring they can complete a bachelor’s degree on time.

“By collaborating with IUPUC, we can now offer our community a seamless pathway to a bachelor’s degree that makes sense financially and provides top quality learning experiences from the excellent faculty at both Ivy Tech and IUPUC,” said Steven Combs, Ivy Tech Columbus campus chancellor.
