COVID-19 task force sends letter to Holcomb seeking extension of mask requirements

COLUMBUS, Ind. — The local COVID-19 Community Task Force has sent a letter to Gov. Eric Holcomb asking for an official extension of the statewide face covering requirement during the pandemic, as outlined in previous executive orders.

The letter was signed by all members of the task force, including Columbus Mayor Jim Lienhoop, Columbus Regional Hospital President and CEO Jim Bickel and county Health Officer Dr. Brian Niedbalski.
