Duncan tied for eighth after second-round 71
LAS VEGAS — Tyler Duncan fired a second-round 1-under-par 71 Friday and is tied for eighth place in The CJ Cup at Shadow Creek and is 6-under for the tournament following his opening round of 67 Thursday.
Duncan, a 2008 Columbus North graduate, carded a 1-over 37 on the front and a 2-under 34 on the back.
Xander Schauffele leads the tournament at 14-under overall, three shots ahead of Tyrell Hatton.
