COLUMBUS
J.B. Henry, 89, of Columbus, passed away at 8:45 p.m. Tuesday, October 20, 2020 at Four Seasons Health Care Center.
J.B. was born February 24, 1931, in Benham, Kentucky, the son of John L. and Martha A. Hall Henry.
Mr. Henry was an honorably discharged Army veteran who served during the Korea conflict. He was an accountant for most of his life and worked for Anthem Blue Cross and Blues Shield. The things in life that J.B. enjoyed most were fishing, U.K. Basketball and being a trusted servant of the Lord.
Survivors include brother and sister-in-law James and Vickie Jarvis of Columbus; brother, David (Judy) Henry of Lynch, Kentucky; sister, Eula Mae (Wallace) Shepherd of Cumberland, Kentucky; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Phyllis and five brothers.
A public graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Garland Brook Cemetery with Virgil Clotfelter officiating.
