Lifelong volunteer Mary Weinland was named The Republic’s Woman of the Year.

Longtime educator and 25-year principal Smith Snively was tapped for the Bartholomew Consolidated School Corp. Education Hall of Fame Award.

Irwin Management donated 30 large white pine trees to beautify a lot north of the courthouse being developed for temporary parking during the downtown development project.
