The state police post in Seymour, closed and merged with the post in Versailles, was put up for sale despite attempts to have it listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

1995

PromptMed Immediate Care Center opened between The Ribeye restaurant and Western Auto on 25th Street.

1970

Several years after 25th Street Shopping Center opened, a 29-foot sign was purchased by center merchants and installed.
