Asbury United Methodist Church — In-person worship at 9:30 a.m. each Sunday. You can also livestream worship or watch the recorded video after 11 a.m. at www.asburycolumbus.org/latest-worship.

East Columbus Christian Church — In-person services are at 10 a.m. each week and follow social distancing guidelines. Masks are available. Online worship is available live through YouTube and Facebook at 10 a.m. each week. Sunday morning Children’s Church is at 10 a.m.
Sunday night Youth Group is at the church from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

East Columbus United Methodist — Sunday morning worship begins at 9:30 a.m. in the sanctuary with the implementation of the recommended in-person worship guidelines.
Social distancing guidelines include a face covering (face masks will be provided for those needing one), seating every other pew, no passing of offering plates, no handshaking or hugging, and the use of pre-packaged communion supplies. Holy Communion is served the first Sunday of each month.
Sunday school will be held immediately following the morning service and classrooms have been arranged to follow social distancing guidelines. Sunday evening service begins at 6 p.m. in the chapel. Seating has been arranged to follow social distancing guidelines.
The weekly service will continue to be available for viewing online through the church’s Facebook page and on their YouTube channel.

Faith Lutheran Church — The church livestreams worship each Sunday on Facebook at Faith Lutheran Church — Columbus Indiana.
The church is also meeting in person each Sunday at 9 a.m., and will be following specific health guidelines. Most Sundays, an adult Bible Study will follow worship at 10:30 a.m. There will also be Wednesday evening worship at 6:30 p.m. that will follow strict health guidelines, specifically for those who are most vulnerable. Daily prayer is livestreamed most weekdays at 7 a.m. All are welcome to worship the Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

First Christian Church — The church is offering in-person and online services at 9 and 10:30 a.m. The earlier service is reserved for those 65 and older and the 10:30 a.m. service is open for all ages. The church has activity packs available for children.

First Lutheran Church — The church is offering in-person worship services on Sunday mornings at 8:45 a.m. for the classic service and 11:15 a.m. for the casual service.

Those in the community in need of a meal are invited to the Hot Meals program, which is offered Friday at 5 p.m. The church is an LGBTQ-friendly church.

First United Methodist — On Oct. 25, at 8:30 a.m., Rev. Sarah Campbell will deliver the message “Everything Changes.” The scripture will be Matthew 22:34-46.
Doors for the service will be opened at 8 a.m., and the church asks that attendees enter through the narthex doors on Eighth Street or through the Lafayette Street doors. Hand sanitizer will be available at the entrances to the sanctuary. The church asks that everyone attending wear a mask while they are in the building. Masks will be available for those who don’t have one. The church will be practicing social distancing.
For those of you that aren’t able to make it to the in-person service or are not yet comfortable meeting in person, the church will continue to have a 10 a.m. live stream of their service on our Facebook page www.facebook.com/columbusfumc and it will be available on the church website for later viewing as well.
Nov. 1 will be All Saints Sunday, where the church honors those from their congregation who have passed away in the past year.

Flintwood Wesleyan — Sunday morning worship begins at 9 a.m. with The Amplify (contemporary) service. Sunday school follows with classes for all ages at 10 a.m. The Well service (traditional) begins at 11 a.m. Both worship services are led by Pastor Wesley Jones. The church’s Sunday Amplify services are livestreamed on YouTube at 9 a.m.
Sunday evening is devoted to Celebrate Recovery meetings. The meetings are designed to assist in ridding ourselves of hurts, habits, and hang-ups. Meeting begin at 6 p.m. with getting to know each other, singing, and a lesson are open to the public. At 7 p.m., there is an open share meeting that splits into a group for women and a group for men. Safe child care is available.
Small group Bible study has resumed on Tuesday evenings at 6:30 p.m. The study is studying The Church Beginnings through the Book of Acts. The group is meeting in The Friendship Center. New members are welcome.
Wednesday activities begin with a meal served at 5:30 p.m. in The Friendship Center. This is followed by iKids at 6:15 p.m. IKids is a program for kids pre-K through sixth grade. The church prayer team will also met at 6:15 p.m. in the prayer room. Our Youth will meet at 6:30 p.m. and adult Bible study meets at 7 p.m. in the main sanctuary.
This year the church will have a drive through Trunk or Treat. They will be handing out a food sack with hot dogs, chips, and water, and a sack of candy safely filled due to COVID-19 precautions. Each person will wear masks and gloves while filling the sacks. There will also be photo op booths with costume characters. Hours open are 5 to 8 p.m.
Masks are required to enter the building for services on Sundays until further notice. The church will supply masks to those that don’t have them. Hand sanitizing stations are throughout the buildings along with colored lanyards with tags stating individual preferences on personal space.

Grace Lutheran — Grace Lutheran celebrates the Festival of the Reformation with the Columbus Brass at its 8 and 10:30 a.m. worship services. The message is, “Free at last, and free indeed!” based on John 8:31-36. True freedom is not doing whatever we wish. Rather, it is the God-given desire to do what we ought.
Worship is in-person with social distancing, or join online at www.gracecolumbus.org. Adult Sunday school is in-person at 9:30 a.m. in the fellowship hall or online at the church website.

Mt. Pleasant Christian Union Church — New members drive in Oct. and Nov. If you’ve been a Christian for years or if you just decided to learn more about God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit, this little country church would like to meet you. Everyone is welcome. Services are at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday and 5 p.m. on Wednesday.

Newbern United Methodist Church — The church is practicing strict COVID-19 preventative measures. Masks are required. All activities are postponed until further notice except for Sunday service at 10:30 a.m. and online Bible study each Wednesday at 7 p.m. via Zoom.
North Christian Church — Rev. Tonja Gerardy is continuing Sunday services at 10:30 a.m. each Sunday morning via YouTube. Search North Christian Church Columbus Indiana to join.
Join the conversation via Zoom on Tuesdays at 3:30 p.m. The church will continue to explore Biblical characters whose lives unraveled. Each session is wholly independent from the others. Participants can choose to come and go as able. There is no book to purchase or any advance reading to complete.

Old Union United Church of Christ — Scriptures for the 10 a.m. Sunday service, the Twenty-first Sunday after Pentecost, will include Deuteronomy 34:1-12, 1 Thessalonians 2:1-8, Matthew 22:34-46. The message will be “Courage in God.”
The church has applied social distancing guidelines. Face coverings are required, but can be provided by the church for those that need one. Seating is spaced two arm-widths apart for non-relatives. Seating is every other pew and there will be no fellowship in the basement, no passing of the peace, and no handshaking or hugging.

Petersville United Methodist Church — On Sunday morning at 9 a.m., the congregation of the Petersville United Methodist Church, 2781 N. County Road 500E, Columbus, will gather for worship.
Masks are required and seating is arranged for social distancing. Adult and children’s masks will be available at the front door.
Pastor Rebecca Milne will deliver the message, “The Story of God: Act 4: Christ.” Scriptures to be shared will be from Philippians 5:11, and emphasis will be on God becoming flesh as Jesus of Nazareth.
Teresa Covert will give the children’s sermon. At the conclusion of worship, the congregation will be dismissed beginning with the last row of pews.
The Monday night Bible study group, Journey, led by Chris Kimerling, will meet in the fellowship hall at 6:30 p.m. each Monday evening. New members are always welcome. The Baker’s Dozen group has not resumed meeting, nor has the Tuesday night Sit and Stitch class.

Sandy Hook United Methodist — Sandy Hook United Methodist church gathers weekly for in-person worship. The church offers two services: 8:45 a.m. is a traditional service and 11 a.m. is a contemporary service. On Sunday, Oct. 25, Pastor Paul Dazet, will bring the message “THE GOSPEL” as part of the Sermon Series “The Story of God”.
Those attending will be required to wear masks, and they will be available if needed. Seating will be marked and will be socially distanced. Sanitizer is available. Attendees should not gather in groups inside the church.
Nursery provisions are provided during both services and children’s church during the 11 a.m. service. Fellowship time will not take place. Sunday school classes will be offered for all ages at 10 a.m.

Sardinia Baptist Church — The church will be holding their 58th annual Harvest Day Celebration on Nov. 15 at 10:30 a.m. Rev. Tom Rust will bring a special message and Cheryl Thill will bring special music. A pitch-in meal will follow at 12:30 p.m.

St. Paul Episcopal Church — In-person worship has resumed at the church, 2651 California St., Columbus, with Sunday Eucharistic Services at 8 a.m. (Rite 1) and 10:15 a.m. (Rite 2).
The church follows a strict protocol that includes masks, social distancing, and no singing.

St. Paul Lutheran — Reformation will be celebrated Sunday as Pastor Jeff Patterson presents the message ”An Eternal Gospel for a Troubled World” based on Revelation 14:6-7 at the 8 and 10:45 a.m. worship services that follow all CDC guidelines for social distancing.
Christian Fellowship begins at 9:10 a.m. The Sunday school hour will begin in the sanctuary exploring Martin Luther’s response to the Bubonic Plague, the application of his hymn, “A Mighty Fortress is Our God,” and how we serve others in Christian love. Hands-on service activities will follow in the Fellowship Room for the children.
The Spanish worship service will be in the Fellowship Room at 10:45 a.m. with Spanish Sunday School at noon. In-person worship service with Communion is held each Wednesday at 4:45 p.m. in the church followed by Bible study on the book of Ruth at 6 p.m. Wednesday’s worship service will be posted online the following day at www.stpaulcolumbus.org
Radio worship service every Sunday at 8:30 a.m. on 1010 AM and 98.1 FM.
Wednesday morning Bible class meets at 9 a.m. at the church studying the book of Jeremiah.

Westside Community Church — WCC has moved back to one service starting at 10 a.m. Pastor Dennis Aud will lead the service this Sunday. Masks are required. The 87.9 FM transmission will continue to be available in the parking lot for those choosing not to enter the building.
WCC nursery and children’s church will remain closed at this time. At-risk individuals should remain at home, and those who have or have recently had, symptoms should also remain at home.

South Central Indiana Christian Men’s Fellowship — SCICMF will meet at Hartsville Christian Church on Tuesday, Oct. 27 at 6:30 p.m. There will be no meal and face masks are required. The speaker will be Paul Bunting of Hartsville Christian Church.
