Hauser reports one new COVID-19 case

HOPE — Flat Rock-Hawcreek School Corp. is reporting one new case of COVID-19 from Hauser Jr./Sr. High School for the week ending Oct. 30.

The school corporation’s website provides weekly updates on the number of confirmed positive COVID-19 cases and student referrals related to masks and social distancing. No such student referrals were reported for this past week, and no cases were reported from Hope.

Each weekly report contains only the numbers for the past week; the site does not show a running total. The overall total confirmed positive COVID-19 cases reported by the school corporation is seven.

Superintendent Shawn Price has said in the past that the school corporation is not including remote learning students in its weekly posts regarding case counts.
