Viewpoint Books has organized a Reindeer Ride-through from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday in downtown Columbus.
Considering heightened pandemic concerns, store staff will offer a safe way to see live reindeer from Silly Safaris. Motorists can line up at Fifth and Jackson streets to pick up a packet of holiday activities to do while you wait. You’ll drive around the block where the reindeer and elves will be waiting to meet motorists on Sixth Street.
Children may also leave a letter for them to deliver to Santa. Organizers are reminding people to wear masks.
"We want to keep the reindeer and elves – and you — healthy for Santa’s December deliveries," said Beth Stroh, Viewpoint co-owner.
