Don and Tammy Tungate of Columbus are celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary with a family celebration party planned at a later time.
Mr. Tungate and the former Tammy Coon were married Nov. 29, 1980, at Petersville Methodist Church by Rev. Wm. Keith and Rev. Ernest King.
Mr. Tungate is employed at Circle K. Mrs. Tungate is self-employed.
The couple have two children, Michael (Michelle) Tungate and Sarah (Jimi) Harper, and four grandchildren.
