Two CSA-New Tech seniors receive 2021 Lilly Scholarships

COLUMBUS, Ind. — Two Columbus Signature New Tech High School seniors have received the 2021 Lilly Endowment Community Scholarships.

Hayley Barr and Jadi Miller are the Bartholomew County recipients, who will receive a full-ride scholarship to pursue four years of undergraduate study on a full-time basis that leads to a baccalaureate degree and an accredited public or private nonprofit college or university in Indiana.

The two will receive tuition for four years and a $900 annual stipend for books and equipment.

The top 10 finalists for the scholarship, selected out of 54 applications, included, Marin Wieneke, Taylor Hollen, Jose Burbrink and Gabriela Heredia from Columbus East High School, Brock Burbrink and Emmaleigh Martin from CSA-New Tech, Helena Ho from Columbus North High school and Tamara Esses from Hauser Jr.-Sr. High School.
