BLOOMINGTON — Ali Patberg recorded nine points, eight rebounds and three assists Sunday to help No. 15 Indiana open its Big Ten women’s basketball season with an 81-45 win against Nebraska.
Patberg, a redshirt-senior from Columbus North, went 4 for 11 from the field, including 1 for 2 from 3-point range in 21 minutes of action for the Hoosiers (3-2, 1-0).
Aleksa Gulbe led Indiana with 18 points and 12 rebounds. Mackenzie Holmes scored 16 points, and Kiandra Browne added 12 points and 10 rebounds.
