Yellow Jackets sting Jets

HOPE — Hauser trailed 15-2 after the first quarter and couldn’t recover in a 54-28 Mid-Hoosier Conference loss to Class A No. 7 Morristown Wednesday.

Kobe Meahl finished with 10 points to lead the Jets (4-3, 0-2).

Olympians go 2-1

INDIANAPOLIS — No. 11 Columbus East went 2-1 Wednesday, and defeated two top-six teams in the process. The Olympians fell to No. 7 Perry Meridian 35-25, but bounced back to defeat No. 4 Crown Point 28-27 and No. 6 Brownsburg 35-31.

Sam Morrill at 170 pounds, Kade Law (160) and Noah Lykins (113) all went 3-0 to lead the Olympians. Liam Krueger (106), Reece Fisher (132), Tony Tapia (138), Tyler Williams (152), Josh Schrader (195) and Ashton Hartwell (285) finished 2-1 on the day.

Bull Dogs split matches

Columbus North won against Western Boone 48-24, but then dropped to Edgewood 54-24 Wednesday.

Eddy Lin at 113 pounds, Brysen Hutt (120) and Keegan Hill (195) went 2-0 to lead the Bull Dogs.
