Jinhee Kim, director of music and the organist at Columbus’ Grace Lutheran Church, will present an online organ recital at 6:30 p.m. Sunday on the church website at gracecolumbus.org. The presentation also will feature local flutist and student Carlos Lopez.
Kim is a doctoral candidate in organ performance and literature at Indiana University. She has finished all doctoral courses and qualifying exams, and is writing her dissertation to complete her doctoral degree. While she was pursuing her artist diploma at Oberlin Conservatory, and masters and doctoral degrees at Indiana University, she participated and won numerous organ competitions locally and internationally.
