HOPE, INDIANA
Mr. Roger Lee “Bear” Thayer, 69 of Hope, Indiana passed away December 30, 2020 at Hope-Miller Merry Manor.
He was Born in Salt Lake City, Utah the son of the late Elmer and Jane Thayer.
Bear was a hard worker, as he did roofing for a living for many years. He enjoyed his family and grandchildren.
He is survived by his children: Joey Howard wife Treva, Jeremy Howard wife Crystal, Beth McDole husband Shannon, and Becky Fleener husband David. 12 grandchildren and 1 brother Billy Thayer.
He is preceded in death by his parents, 5 brothers Woody, Pat, Roger, Tom and Mike Thayer and 1 sister Yvonne Thayer.
Family and friend may gather at Voss and Sons Funeral Service in Seymour on Friday after 9:30 with a memorial service at 10:00 a.m.
In accordance with CDC guidelines, masks are required before admittance to the funeral home as well as social distancing within the building. We kindly ask that there be no physical contact such as hugs or handshakes to protect staff and the family. Attendance is limited to 25 people at any given time.
