Honey is our longest resident here at the shelter and she just doesn’t understand why she hasn’t been adopted yet. Honey is a shepherd mix and is about six years old. She is an active girl who loves to run and play! Honey is very toy motivated, more so than treat motivated. Honey’s favorite thing to do is to play fetch out in the yard. She will also keep herself entertained and play by herself with her large rope toy. Honey does well with other dogs her size as long as they are polite. She doesn’t like being jumped on. Honey has a major prey drive and would not do well in a home with cats or small dogs.
This sweet kitten, Cali Girl, is in a foster home while she recovers from her surgery. She is looking for her forever home. Cali is recovering from her recent spay and eye removal but having only one eye hasn’t slowed her down one bit! She’s about 10-11 weeks old and is currently on all of her medical. She is available for adoption through Columbus Animal Care Services.
All carts are $80 and all dogs are $100 which includes having them spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines (age appropriate) and microchipped.
While the shelter is currently closed due to COVID-19, we are setting appointments for adoptions. Please call 812-376-2505 or email animalcareservices@columbus.in.gov. Applications for adoptions:https://www.columbus.in.gov/…/adoption-information-and-app…/
