Don Brison Wilmoth, 81, passed away from this life into eternal life on January 1, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at his home with his wife of 6 years, Carolyn Suddarth by his side. His cause of death was Alzheimer’s Disease and two strokes.

Don was born June 16, 1939 in Ohio to Brison Findley and Augusta Green Wilmoth. Don worked for 46 years at the Golden Foundry as a fork lift operator and retired at the time of their closure. He played the mandolin at 6th Street General Baptist Church as well as several others.

Don was preceded in death by his first wife, Anna May Scott Wilmoth, his second wife, Geneva Greathouse Wilmoth, his parents, a brother Ronald, as well as an infant daughter Donna Wilmoth.

Don is survived by his wife Carolyn Suddarth, his children Rebecca and Dan Wilmoth both of Columbus, his siblings Janice (Gene) Young of Greenwood, Joyce Parragin of Columbus, Linda Tromp of Florida, and Carolyn (Bob) Jones-Bateman of Ohio, Cordell (Val) Wilmoth of Ohio, step-children Deborah, Theresa, Jeffrey, and Richard Sayles all of Columbus, and Roy Universaw of Rockville.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, no services are planned.
