INDIANAPOLIS — The Indiana Department of Health said 3,002 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 through testing at state and private laboratories. That brings to 526,071 the number of Indiana residents now known to have had the novel coronavirus following corrections to the previous day’s dashboard.
A total of 8,111 Hoosiers are confirmed to have died from COVID-19, an increase of 56 from the previous day. Another 364 probable deaths have been reported based on clinical diagnoses in patients for whom no positive test is on record. Deaths are reported based on when data are received by the state and occurred over multiple days.
To date, 2,667,473 unique individuals have been tested in Indiana, up from 2,660,696 on Saturday. A total of 5,792,697 tests, including repeat tests for unique individuals, have been reported to the state Department of Health since Feb. 26.
Bartholomew County reported 5,612 positive tests (up 49) with 87 deaths (no change) as of Sunday.
Surrounding counties reported:
Jackson County: 3,834 positive cases (up 21) with 43 deaths (no change).
Jennings County: 1,725 positive cases (up three) with 33 deaths (no change).
Decatur County: 2,162 positive cases (up 11) with 76 deaths (no change).
Shelby County: 3,508 positive cases (up 19) with 74 deaths (no change).
Johnson County: 12,539 positive cases (up 96) with 243 deaths (up two).
Brown County: 757 positive cases (up two) with nine deaths (no change).

The testing site in Columbus is located in FairOaks Mall at the former JC Penney location.
The Bartholomew Health Department and Windrose Health Network is also offering free COVID-19 testing.
Dates and times may vary, with evening and Saturday appointments available. The phone number is 812-379-1555, Option 1.
Testing will be available to all members of the public regardless of symptoms. Children as young as 2 years of age can be tested with parental consent.
