Carol Marie Morgan Wiseman, 75, of Greensburg went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ

Monday December 28, 2020 at 10:45 a.m. due to complications from Covid-19.

Born September 19, 1945 in Milford, IN to the late Harry Newport Morgan and Helen Marie (Davis) Morgan.

In 1964 Carol graduated from Burney High School in Burney, IN.

She married Jerry Wiseman September 18, 1966 at the Milford Methodist Church and their union lasted 54 years. Together Carol and Jerry worked side by side to build Wiseman Farms with their main focus being God, faith, family, hard work, dedication, and sacrifice. Reaping what you sow, treasures will be laid up in Heaven.

Other survivors include children, Cheri Smith (Terry McClanahan) of Hope, Gretchen (Jeff) Seeley of Columbus, Joshua (Susan) Wiseman of Greensburg and Paul (Jeanne) Wiseman of Greensburg; grandchildren, Heather and Josie Smith of Hope, Melanie (Zach) Haggard of Columbus, Ryan Seeley of Indianapolis, Sam Wiseman (Morgan Oesterling), Jake Wiseman, Hannah Wiseman, Owen Wiseman, Ayva Wiseman, Grayden Wiseman, Layne Wiseman, all of Greensburg; great grandchild, McKinley Kay Davis of Hope; siblings, Bonnie Smith of Gallipolis, OH and Evelyn (Larry) Shelp of Columbus and sister-in-law, Geraldine Morgan of Greensburg and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews whom referred to Carol as “Aunt Carol” and she loved them all.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Janice Dykes, brother, Richard Morgan; brother-in-law, Bill Smith and father and mother in law, Marion Lee and Mae Wiseman.

Carol accepted Christ as a young adult and was a member of the Milford Methodist Church. In 1976 Carol and Jerry transferred their memberships along with their children to the First Baptist Church of Hope where she has been a member for 45 years. She was the nursery Sunday School teacher for 30 years, ABY Jr. High leader and attended the Women’s Sunday School class. Carol loved to serve her God from going on mission trips, participating in the book depository in Cincinnati where she attended the Women’s Conference. Carol also attended the ABW Conference in Greenlake, WI, Emmaus Walk, Journey Through Faith, BSF and volunteered at the American Red Cross Center in Columbus.

Carol loved to travel and did so with husband Jerry to Branson, MO, Alaska, NYC to see Ground Zero after 911, the New England States and Gatlinburgh, TN they had recently visited with their daughter in September and Canada.

Carol loved working on the farm and spending time with her grandchildren. She also loved reading and shopping for antiques.

Due to following Covid 19 restrictions, there will be a drive through visitation for Carol on Wednesday from noon until 2:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Hope. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. inside the church and will be officiated by Dennis Chasteen. Burial will follow at Milford Cemetery. Arrangements were entrusted to Norman Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be donated directly to First Baptist Church of Hope or Riley Children’s Hospital.
