Delilah Rose Ogle, 79, of Columbus, passed away at 3:28 a.m. Sunday, January 3, 2021 at Columbus Regional Hospital.
Delilah was born December 10, 1941, in Bartholomew County, the daughter of Henry and Marie McKinney Hoover. On April 3, 1943, she married Richard L. Ogle.
Survivors include her daughters, Wendy Eubanks, Melissa (Mike) Polly, Carrie (Josh) McCloud, all of Columbus; grandchildren, Lee (Ashley Carmer) Polly, Jeremy Polly, Nicole Polly, Kaleb McCloud, Kendrick McCloud, Tyler McCloud, Paige McCloud, Bailey McCloud; great-grandchildren, Scyla Polly, Kegighn Carmer; brother, David (Sue) Hoover of Columbus; sisters, Becky (Pete) Graham of North Vernon, Leah (Verel) Jackson of Nashville, IN., Martha Ness of Columbus, Mary (David) Sharpe of Taylorsville, Jean (George) Frazee of Florida; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard Ogle; son-in-law, Steve Eubanks and brother, Leroy Hoover.
A private visitation and funeral service will be conducted at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Pastor Daryl Gressel officiating. Due to pandemic restrictions, we are limited to 50 people in our funeral home. We do ask that visitors follow the social distancing guidelines once inside the funeral home and masks are required.
Burial will be at Bethel Baptist Cemetery.
