COLUMBUS
Brenda D. Wright, 69, of Columbus, was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister went to be with the Lord at 9:48 a.m. Thursday, January 7, 2021.
Mrs. Wright was born May 23, 1951, the loving daughter of James A. and Marcia I. Miller Sebastian.
Brenda married Kenneth A. Wright November 7, 1970.
She was a homemaker and a member of 7th Street Church of God.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and church family.
Survivors include her husband of 50 years; her children, Becky (Tim) Thomas of Columbus and Jerry (Devona) Wright of Edinburgh; grandchildren, Elizabeth (Clurie) Hyden and Tyler Thomas and her brothers, Larry Sebastian of Indianapolis, Richard (Cosette) Sebastian of Bloomington and Kenny (Debbie) Chandler of Columbus.
She was preceded in death by her parents; biological father, Don Chandler, brother, Barry Sebastian and grandchildren, Hope Wright and Elizabeth Tedrow.
A private funeral service will be held at 7th Street Church of God with the Rev. Jerry Ballard officiating.
Due to pandemic restrictions, we are limited to 50 people. We do ask that visitors follow the social distancing guidelines once inside the church and masks are required.
Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
