SAN DIEGO — Tyler Duncan birdied two of the final three holes to card an even-par 72 Friday, but missed the cut to the final two rounds of the Farmers Insurance Open.
Duncan, a 2008 Columbus North graduate, shot 1-over 37 on the front nine and 1-under 35 on the back at Torrey Pines South. He had a 73 in Thursday’s opening round and finished at 1-over 145 for 36 holes, missing the cut by two shots.
Viktor Hovland leads the field at 9-under 135. Six players are tied for second at 8-under 136.
